Located in the South Devon Naval town of Dartmouth, Navy Blue specialises in sourcing, stocking and selling Naval and Military Memorabilia.

Our location is very apt as Dartmouth has a rich maritime history. It was a port-of-call for the Pilgrim Fathers (the ships Mayflower and Speedwell) before they set sail for what was to become the United States of America. Their visit is commemorated with a plaque in the historic Bayard's Cove. The cobble stoned cove also featured as a location for the filming of the 1970s series, The Onedin Line. Complimenting the port, the mouth of the Dart is graced by two impressive Castles. Dartmouth Castle, built in 1481, featured many state-of-the-art 15th century defences and in times of war, a protective chain was strung across the mouth of the Dart to Kingswear Castle on the opposite bank of the river to offer protection against hostile vessels.

High on a hill above the town set in over 40 acres of land is the Britannia Royal Naval College which has been training Royal Naval officers on this site since 1905. In fact, Naval officers' training in Dartmouth goes back to 1863, when the old wooden wall HMS BRITANNIA was first moored in the River Dart.

From the North of Devon ::

Follow the M5 to Exeter which then declassifies to the A38. Follow the A38 until you see the turn-off for Dartington / Totnes and Dartmouth (A379). Follow the A379 into Totnes where there will be a right turn to Dartmouth. Follow this road until Halwell, where there is a left turn through the village and another left at the top of the hill will put you on the road to Dartmouth.
